Trips
Salamanca is a city with an excellent geographic location that allows to carry out all day trips to other close cities ore ven cities of our neighbour country, Portugal.
Interlenguis, each Saturday carries out a trip to a city or town of cultural interest in which discover a new environment, visit monuments and museums and savor typical dishes of the area.
Trips organized by Interlenguis include: private transport, tickets for the monuments that are going to be visited, apart from the company of the teacher who will provide the students with the pertinent explanations in each visit.
Before the trip an informative pamphlet of the route will be hand over.

One Day-trips
AVILA
Avila is a province of Castile and Leon declared Heritage of Humanity in 1985 and integrated in the Network of Jewish from 2005. This medieval city is characterized for its wall, a popular tourist destination, its cathedral, the lookout of Los cuatro postes, the Santa Teresa Church or the Santo Tomas Monastery among others.
SEGOVIA
Segovia, Heritage of Humanity since 1985, belongs to Castile and Leon. It is a city of contrasts in which you will find a medieval and Jewish environment. Segovia is known for its aqueduct, but we should not miss its squares, the Cathedral, the Alcázar, the Sinagoga or have a walk around the Jewish or old quarter.
MADRID
Madrid, the capital of Spain, offers countless places to visit or corners to discover, from a wide variety of parks such as the Retiro; squares, la Puerta del Sol or la Plaza Mayor among others; museums: the Prado Museum or the Queen Sofia Museum; or emblematic buildings such as the city hall, the Crystal Palace, la Puerta de Alcala, or the Debod Temple or a walk around Gran Via going across the shops.
LA ALBERCA
A beautiful medieval town, 60km far from Salamanca, located in the Sierra de Francia region. Its narrow streets, its stone and granite buildings with their seen wood beams have made the town as an enchanted place worth visiting. The principal monuments of this small town are the Major square, Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Church, the Hermitages or the Marrano of San Antón, typical symbol of the locality.
CANDELARIO
Town declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1975 which belongs to the range of Bejar, 80km far from Salamanca. The beauties of this town are its narrow streets, its stone pavements, its crystalline water canals that belong to the snowy mountains.
The monuments that you will find in this town are the hall, the Cristo del Refugio Hermitage, the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Church or the batipuertas, half door that protects the principal door of the houses from the diverse climate conditions.

Two days trip
LEÓN
Leon stands out for its religious architecture since it contains numerous churches and cathedrals. The one that is remarkable is the Leon Cathedral of gothic style and its emblematic stained glasses and also the Romanesque Basilica of San Isidro. Apart from the culture, you cannot miss the tapas, which catch the attention since they are included in the consumption of the drinks, nor the Valporquero caves and the medullas, amazing natural landscapes.
BURGOS
The city of Burgos stands out principally for its medieval architecture. In this visit, you will discover the gothic cathedral of Santa María, the most famous monument, declared Heritage of Humanity. You will walk around its streets, squares, green areas and the historic centre, where the story of the Cid Campeador is very present.
TOLEDO
Toledo, declared Heritage of Humanity City, is known as the city of the three cultures for its Jewish, Arabian and Christian mixture which is reflected in the Cristo de la Cruz Mosque, the Santa María de la Blanca and the Transit Synagogue. Toledo has a military structure, prove of that are its castles, its walls and its alcazar. The visit to this city will leave you enchanted and with the determination to repeat.

Three days trip
PORTUGAL
Portugal is a country located in the South-West of Europe, a transcontinental country with a good climate throughout nearly the whole year and with a varied and exquisite gastronomy. Travel to our neighbor country and discover its wonderful cities and landscapes visiting Coimbra, the Nuestra Señora de Fatima Sanctuary, Lisbon, Cascais or Sintra.
GALICIA-ASTORGA-LEON
Galicia stands out for being one of the communities with more forest mass, beautiful mountain landscapes and a great amount of cliffs and rocky areas. It is popularly known for the Camino de Santiago, which ends in the city of Santiago de Compostela, where you cannot miss the Portico de la Gloria. Other Galician city of great beauty and touristic interest are Astorga, Ponferrada or the capital city, Lugo. Back to Salamanca, the village of Leon, Villafranca del Bierzo and the city of Leon are ideal places to visit.
EL ESCORIAL-MADRID-TOLEDO
The Royal Monastery of the Escorial is composed by a Royal Palace, a Basilica, a pantheon, a school, a library and a monastery, which stands out for its architectonic patrimony and historic reference. It is located a few kilometers far for Madrid, where the visit is compulsory and the life, actuality and modernity are presents. Toledo, is barely 70km far from the capital and stands out as the city of the three cultures, it is preserved as the city of the Medieval Age, it is a city with an amazing monumental complex.

GRANADA
Granada is considered as one of the most beautiful cities in Spain and is one of the principal current touristic destinations. The beauty of the Alhambra is unquestionable, since it is considered to be one of the Wonder of the World, its incredible courtyards, the Alcazaba or the military area and the beautiful Gardens of Generalife form a marvelous walk. From the Albaicín in the lookout of San Nicolás, you will enjoy of one of the best views of Granada with a landscape of Sierra Nevada in the front.
SEVILLA
The city of Sevilla is the capital city of Andalusia. This city stands out for its climate and blue sky, the streets full of art and happiness that takes you to places and monuments worth visiting. A walk through the Triana bridge, the Old quarter (the Giralda Cathedral, the Santa Cruz quarter), the beauty of the Royal Alcázares or the Torre del Oro and the charm of the Spain Square and the María Luisa Park are worth visiting without any doubt.
BARCELONA
Barcelona is the Catalan capital par excellence. Discover the great city from the Gothic Quarter to the picturesque Raval or one of the trendy quarters: the Borne. Enjoy the architecture and the culture, the modernity; walk around the Rambla until the Canaletas Fountain, associated to the celebration of the titles that the Football Team Barcelona gets, the Liceu Theatre or the famous market La Boquería. Apart from that, you cannot miss the majestic Sagrada Familia, a Basilica that was constructed from 1882 and it is expected to be finished in 2026.
